The New Year brings new questions! Here's what America wants to know!!
Q: The NFL Pro Bowl roster is out. Who is missing and who got lucky?
-Tiffany P., Antioch, TN
A: I think QB Peyton Manning of the Indianapolis Colts, OT Jason Peters of the Philadelphia Eagles and C Andre Gurode got in the Pro Bowl because of their reputations. The players that should be there instead of these guys are QB Matt Cassel of the Kansas City Chiefs, OT Donald Penn of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and C Scott Wells of the Green Bay Packers. All three play on winning teams and are big keys as to their teams successes this year. Cassel should be there ahead of Manning because he has had a better year. Point blank. Period.
Q: Whats the chance if a split national championship now since TCU beat Wisconsin?
-David D., Murfreesboro, TN
A: Zero chance. The system is what it is and it gave us Auburn and Oregon and one of these two will be the champion this year.
Q: Do you blame the coach for the offense being non-productive all season,or do you blame the players? And as far as the defense, do you blame the defense for no pass rush, blown assignments and stupid penalties or do you blame the coach? In my opinion all these problems start with the coach or coaches, so Fisher should be fired!
A: I say its a combination of the players and coaches as well as management. I think that Fisher will take the blame for this season and will get let go. I think that its a huge mistake to let him go though. He has earned the right to have one bad season and make it up the next. But, by judging watching the last few weeks, he actually looks like a coach that's ready to go. I think the Titans and Titans fans will not realize Fisher's value until he's no longer here.
Q: Jim Harbaugh? Bill Cowher? Who do you think would take Fisher's spot if he is fired?
-Jeremy M., LaVergne, TN
A: I think that the Titans will not come close to hiring Harbaugh or Cowher. They will go after an assistant coach like Marty Morningweg, offensive coordinator of the Philadelphia Eagles.
Q: Just read where Randy Edsall left UCONN for Maryland. Is Maryland a better job ???
-James R., Nashville, TN
A: It is a better job because Edsall will be able to get high caliber player from the DC area, which produces some excellent players. And to be honest, no big-time player wants to go to UCONN. That move was a step up for Edsall.
Q: Will Jim Harbaugh go to. San Francisco?
-Ken L., Newton, IA
A: I think there's a good possibility he goes to San Francisco, but there's an even greater possibility that he goes to Michigan, especially after the performance of the Wolverines against Mississippi State.
Q: Should the Chiefs consider letting Charlie Weis go before their playoff game on Sunday?
-Nic R., Lenexa, KS
A: No. Even though he has disrupted the Chiefs a little bit, there would be an even bigger disruption if he was let go at this crucial time.
Q: Should Joe Webb be the Vikings QB next season?
-Kareem H., Nashville, TN
A: He should be considered as a backup, but not as a starter. I see the Vikings as a landing spot for Donovan McNabb.
Q: Do you think the Philadelphia Eagles quarterback Mike Vick will be able to elude the Green Bay Packers pass rush and lead his team to victory ??
-James R., Nashville, TN
A: I think that if Vick has to elude Green Bay's pass rush all game, he will either get hurt or turn the ball over. But if his offensive line can protect him 60% of the game, Vick will win. History is on his side as well. Vick has never lost his first playoff game whenever he has gone to the playoffs.
